The Lanark HART Hub responds to significant gaps in access to integrated mental health, addiction, and recovery services in Lanark County, where people with complex needs have historically relied on emergency departments, hospital admissions, police, and shelters for care.
As part of a provincially funded, referral-based healthcare initiative operated by LLGAMH, the Lanark HART Hub—located in Smiths Falls—co-locates addiction treatment, mental health care, primary care, supportive housing, vocational training, and social services. By bringing these supports together under one roof, the hub reduces system fragmentation, improves continuity of care, and provides structured alternatives to crisis-driven service use, expanding capacity and outcomes for people whose needs cannot be met through traditional outpatient services alone.
