Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health

AccessMHA

Centralized intake for mental health, substance use, and addictions services — connecting you to the right support without the guesswork.

About the Program

What is AccessMHA?

AccessMHA is a coordinated, centralized intake system for mental health, substance use health, and addictions services. Rather than navigating dozens of phone numbers or waiting rooms, one contact connects you — or your patient — to the full range of services available in the region.

AccessMHA is operated by LLGAMH and serves individuals across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville. The service is free, confidential, and available to anyone regardless of whether they have previously received mental health care.

For Healthcare Providers

Referring a Patient?

AccessMHA provides a single-point referral pathway for physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers. Submitting a referral connects your patient with an intake specialist who will assess their needs and match them to appropriate services.

You can submit a referral online through the AccessMHA portal, by fax, or by calling our centralized intake line. A clinical summary and consent documentation are helpful but not required to initiate a referral.

AccessMHA is Not a Crisis Service

If this is a medical emergency or you are concerned someone may hurt themselves or others, call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest emergency department. For crisis support, call 9-8-8 or the Distress Centre at 1-800-465-4442.
