Intensive Drug Outpatient Treatment (IDOT)

IDOT provides intensive, structured addiction treatment for justice-involved individuals whose substance use presents significant risk but does not require residential care. Without targeted intervention, this population is at high risk of continued substance use, breach of court conditions, and re-incarceration.

LLGAMH delivers IDOT through intensive clinical treatment, individualized care planning, and ongoing clinical oversight in partnership with the courts and the participant’s broader care team. The combination of judicial oversight and evidence-based treatment supports behaviour change while maintaining public safety and reducing reliance on custody and emergency services.
